Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial reviews of manufacturing operations
- Develop comprehensive performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms
- Identify and quantify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Perform in-depth investigation of cost variances between standard and actual costs
- Prepare detailed variance reports for management
- Develop actionable recommendations to address significant cost discrepancies
- Execute thorough inventory valuation and reconciliation processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company inventory management policies
- Implement and maintain robust inventory tracking systems
- Manage complex month-end financial close processes
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive financial reporting
- Develop and maintain standard cost models
- Conduct continuous cost optimization analyses
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial insights
Position Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-4 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing environment
- Consumer products industry experience strongly preferred
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is a plus
- Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred)
- Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of standard costing methodologies

- Advanced financial analysis skills
- Ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models
- Skilled in identifying financial trends and providing strategic recommendations
